Mayn't
May 28 2026
The month of May is already coming to a close, and yet it feels like i blinked. The Blink Incident strikes again. Such is the way of the passage of time. Since the last post, i've repeatedly had many thoughts about making a new one only to procrasinate and say "nah, i'll do it tomorrow". This procrastination stops now!!!
So hi again :3
I've been mostly busy dealing with High School, with many days just coming home and going "ough...". I actually slept for about 15 hours recently. Sleepy and busy times. But i've been also focusing a little on my personal projects aswell, like the Daily Lolbit account on Bluesky, as well as Psycamp [a horror webseries fake lets-play, massively inspired by Petscop]. I think i talked about that project in the last post.
Psycamp - The project i'm focusing on the most right now
*checks notes* I did, yeah, but i did not really go into much detail about it. I'm gonna do my best to talk as much as i can about it while also talking as little as i can about it at the same time. I've made a bunch of sound files for it recently, like sound effects and music. I've also made one page of concept art with some character designs, which i feel proud of. Most notably, i have already built a working prototype of the game itself - on my computer sits a file named Luu.exe (before this project was called Psycamp, it was called Luu). And i did a lot of work on - what i think is the most important part right now for this project - the story and it's details. I made a Miro board which details all the ideas i have for the project, including but not limited to: story events, definitions of symbolisms, timelines. I spent a lot of time on making a whole "symbolism layer" for this project. I really want this webseries to have a big amount of room to interpret things, so i did a lot of thinking for metaphors and whatnot. I came up with a pretty decently sized board just full of definitions for these metaphors. I will never show nor will i flat-out explain these definitions. I want people to FEEL the story, and for them to use their intuition as to what they think is going on. Much like Petscop.
I have such a specific vision that i have in mind for this project, yet i STILL have a bunch of things to figure out. I need to figure out the environments, and more specific scenarios. Just thinking about it takes up a lot of my brain power so i think i'm done writing about Psycamp now, lol
STEAM
I got the steam controller! Bought it DAY 1, *right* before it went out of stock and the whole reservation stuff happened. Here's a pic :3
Excuse the image quality, my camera was dunked in oil. ... on a completely unrelated topic, you should check this out, it's pretty cool
This controller is GOOD. VERY good. I honestly really really like this thing, and i do not see myself getting another controller for a long long while. It feels good to hold and use, very comfortable, the rumble is the softest rumble i have ever felt in a controller and i actually really like it. Not really sure what else to write about it other than: IT GOOD! But, if you already have a controller that you like using for PC...then, i mean, you don't really need it. It is just a controller, after all. Just a very good one. Get it if you want a good controller for your TV pc gaming set up, cus it's basically MADE for that...or if you dont have a good controller already. I RATE IT 10/10!
IDK what else to write now
Uhhhh..... gup? Thank you for reading!!
